  2. We haven't done a family picture in years. Now with all my siblings graduated & myself just recently married, it would be wonderful to do a new one, include my husband & surprise my parents with the picture! I know they would just love it. :)

  4. I never had family photos growing up. That is one thing I wish I had. (especially since my dad passed away when I was little) I LOVE the photos you have done for us for Easton's 2nd birthday and the Holiday Mini last year. Family photos mean the world to me since I don't have any from my childhood. I want Easton to be able to look back and see all these happy times - which are relfected in your photos.

Angie, you (and Paul) have captured countless beautiful memories of our family with your amazing talent!

A family portrait to me means freezing a moment in time that you can cherish forever. The holidays are special in general but being able to make a day of it, with a special place, and a wonderful photographer makes it invaluable.

Winner or not, we look forward to seeing you this holiday season to add to our collection of beautiful memories!

  11. There are many reasons why a family photo would mean a lot to our family:
    1. I always forget to bring my camera when we go out, therefore we don't get a lot of pictures as a family.
    2. I don't really like my camera and can't afford a nice one at this time.
    3. I have a hard time getting my daughter to sit and pose for a picture. It is always A LOT of work!
    4. I don't like being in photos that much unless I know a professional photographer is taking it - they always make me look better than I actually do!
    5. I appreciate good artsy pictures, especially when it can be one of my family.
    6. I love Angie's photos! She's done at least 4 photo sessions for us and her pictures are framed and hanging all over our house!

When my daughter was born, she was a handful and everytime we took her in to get her pictures done things just didn't go right. She would cry, wouldn't take her fingers out of her mouth. I don't really have any good pics of her as a baby/toddler. Well ever since YOU started taking her pictures, I can't get her to stop posing! Now I want to be able to capture every moment that I can...and I want YOU to capture it for us. You make everyone feel at ease, and you have fun with the kids and that is so important. I never had professional pictures of my daughter until you started with your photography business...my only question is, WHY DID YOU WAIT SO LONG! :)

  22. I am the family photographer. I love photographing my husband and child. I love portrait photography and realize how hard it is to take a good photo. Group photos are particularly challenging. I also love taking photos of people who hate photos of themselves. I am determined to get the image of the person that reflects how beautiful they are to me, as I see them. Not coincidentally, I hate photos of myself. I would love to have a picture of myself, that I love, sandwiched between the 2 people i love most on this earth. While winning a family portrait would be great and such a treat, I would gladly pay Angie to be our photographer because you are wonderful.
