Family Holiday mini session~

YAY!! It has come! Time for the Holiday mini sessions at Papa's tree farm (www.papastreefarm.com)! I have been waiting for these!! I LOVE the tree farm, it has many gorgeous spots for photos as well as I have many ADORABLE christmas props to set up as well! You will LOVE THEM!!!!

They will run every 20 min back to back! I will have a station or two with my props but there are also adorable Christmas style cutouts set up all around the tree farm too! They will include custom made holiday cards complete with envelopes ready for mailing! Each booked client will receive an email with a sample of the holiday cards that will be offered so you can make your choice!

I will also put all my energy into these photos so that they will be done and ready for viewing VERY shortly after the session so that you all can order and get them back in time for sending out holiday cards to your friends and family!

Below are the time slots available! PLEASE email me at angiearmsphotography@gmail.com with your preferred time slot (as well as your BACKUP time slot) I will confirm with you if the slot is still open and if it is, go to the bottom of this page and pay your $50 deposit to secure your slot (if you do not Pay with in 24 hrs of me confirming your slot it will open back up to the next available client) NOTE: You will pay through paypal and just so you know, you do NOT need a paypal account to pay this way! I Heart Faces/ Hands....

Oh how I LOVE this challenge! This one took a lot of time narrowing down to my final choice as I had A TON! But this is the one I chose and it is a picture of my sister (aka BEST FRIEND) and her husband right before she gave birth to her first child, her BEAUTIFUL baby girl! Her husband was a great support the whole labor and delivery. I was blessed to be able to witness their love for each other and their extreme love of their brand new beautiful soon coming baby girl! She was delivered about 30+ min after this photo was taken! Happy, healthy and full of her momma's amazing spirit!!! I LOVE MY NIECE and am glad to be able to enter this photo for all to see!

Urban Mini Sessions!!!

YAHOO! Ok, I am so excited to be offering these mini sessions! URBAN sessions will be held in Tacoma WA in a really cool, urban, mainstream setting that also has lots of cover so we will NOT be rained out! :) DATE IS FINALLY SET AT SUNDAY NOVEMBER 6TH, 2011!!!!

Sessions are $125 (plus tax) and will run every 30 min's! Times available are listed below! I will update the blog when time slots fill up!

TO BOOK:

1. Email: send me an email at angiearmsphotography@gmail.com with your first and second choice for time slots!

2. Confirmation: I will confirm with you if your first or second time requests are available, and once I have confirmed with you via email you will have 24 HOURS to come back here and pay the deposit via paypal! (note: you do NOT need a paypal account to pay this way). If deposit is not paid with in 24 HOURS then your time slot will go back to the available list!

3. Once I have confirmed, you have paid deposit, and I have updated the blog, then keep an eye out for a "welcome" email for your upcoming mini session!

Lets capture that special fall feeling! If you want to put on your sweaters, scarfs and boots and get some gorgeous pictures at a great rate here is your chance!!! Fall minis are scheduled for SATURDAY OCTOBER 22nd, 2011! PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING ON HOW TO BOOK! THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

First step: Look at time slots below. FIND a time you would like to book! LEAVE A COMMENT BELOW WITH THAT TIME! Make sure to check the comments before yours to make sure that it was not taken by someone else! I heart Faces/ WHITE

I heart faces' new contest was for the theme "White"! Two things come to mind when I think of white: SNOW and WEDDING DRESSES! I have great pictures of my son in the snow, but for some reason I am way more drawn to enter this photo instead!

So here is my entry, the beautiful bride in her white dress, SO in love with the man standing behind her, ready to spend the rest of her life with him, to be his wife! I have looked at weddings in such a new light after my own wedding to my high school sweetheart back in 2007, and second to having a child, it is one of life's greatest moments!!

Here is my entry for the Rock the Shot challenge!!! This is my husbands cousin/best friend and he got married in Maui and I was able to be the one to capture their special day! "A Vintage Summer" MINI SESSIONS!!!

"A VINTAGE SUMMER" MINI SESSIONS ARE ON FOR AUGUST 26th and 27th!!!

Alright!!! It has been a little while since I have last done a mini session! Actually the holiday mini's last December was the last one! I LOVE doing mini's, but the time has just escaped me this year! BUT NOT ANY MORE!

This summer I had the opportunity to go to an amazing Antique show in Spokane and I was able to pick up a bunch of fun props including vintage suitcases, camera's, farm crates, vintage milk carafe's, jewelry, handmade pin wheels, old vintage childrens desk, chairs, and more! I am truly excited to put them to good use! So I came up with "a Vintage Summer" mini sessions!

They will be at a perfect location in the Puyallup/Tacoma area *(once you book I will send you directions). They will run every 20 mins and we will snap as many photos in that time frame as we can where you will then pick 4 images to put on a disc where you can print, email, upload as you please. If you just cannot narrow it down to 4 there will be package upgrades available to mini participants!

My Adorable Son

Ok! Had to post some of my ever so cute "baby" boy (he'll always be my lil baby~lol...true words of a mother). Anyways, I wanted to test out my new props so I took the boy and played around! Here is what we came up with!! :) He's so stinking cute!!!!

I heart Faces/Props challenge!

So I had the opportunity to go to an amazing antique show in Spokane WA (Farm Chicks) back in june in hopes to find some great props for photography! I had a BLAST and found quite a bit! So one day I packed them up along with my husband and son and we set up shop and played with the props! Well he's two and full of energy so to get him to sit still with the props was tricky! I asked him to sit and play me a song with his guitar and once he did he could have some fruit snacks! Ha, so he played me a song (those pics are cute too! See my next blog post!) and now here he is with his, "where are my fruit snacks?" face on!! lol...Oh I just HEART him!!!! :)

Cooper family!

Excited to be almost done editing this adorable little family of THREE!!! These are some great friends of mine and it sure is fun to photograph your friends! We had a nice shoot near my home, then came back and finished the session off at my house (my grass looks pretty good! Thanks to my hubby) and then had my husband grilling us some dinner while my toddler son ran around us, keeping us definitely entertained!! Sounds like a great way to have a session, if you ask me!

Caitlin and Justin~ {engagement photos}

So I used to work with Caitlin and when she contacted me about inquiring about wedding photography I was SO thrilled! Not only is she a beautiful girl but a super cool one too! I knew that this would be a fun shoot! And then I got to meet her fiance Justin, and was equally impressed with him! He has been just as much in the process of the wedding photography planning and I LOVE that! They are meant to be together and I am so excited for these photos and even more excited to photograph their wedding next year! CONGRATS you two and hope you like your photos!

You know, I was going through and editing this incredible wedding and noticed some of my "fave" shots were those that were caught with out anyone even knowing my shutter was clicking! I, as a photographer marketing my business, always post and share all of the images from the portrait session and the ceremony and the details of the day, but what about all those photos that I tell my clients I capture when no one is looking?? The ones that can tell a story on their own. The ones that are so sweet and innocent because the are "real" and not posed for the camera...So that gave me the idea for this blog. I LOVE to capture people interacting with one another, sharing a quick hug, laughing and dancing. This shows them as they truly are and it is such a beautiful thing! Enjoy!
